Bruce G. Merritt

 

Bruce Merritt is a retired trial lawyer.  Educated at Occidental College (history) and Harvard Law School, he served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in Los Angeles and practiced civil litigation in New York.  Since his retirement from the law, he has pursued his passion for historical research.  He has authored articles in the Journal of American History and the Southern California Quarterly.  Bruce lives with his wife Valerie in southern California and attends St. Mark's Church.
